A modest apartment fit out in a 60's brick building, 5 minutes walk from Bronte beach Sydney, completed 2005. The apartment was replanned and opened up to take advantage of limited exposure to natural light and views to the north as well as create a series of spaces. The minimal material palette with a white Corian kitchen island that floats away from the exterior wall, subtle coloured polyurethane finished kitchen cabinet doors, raw dark stained floors and general absence of architectural detail attempts to enhance the desired peaceful and uncluttered feel required of the brief.
